This album is special to INI because for years many have watched as I grow musically, and its been full of poorly mixed and some tunes that are rough. Thank you for the focusing on message rather than production. In the recent years, since working with Diles real serious, we were able to make the studio a church where prayers just come… And the Sound is clean and clear. As time moves we see what has a really nice feel. Both of us have grown together spiritually and musically, this album is some of the tunes that we wanted to share now. Its important to let the blood flow, and I am very proud to share this work and present a work that represents unity in the name of the King of Kings and the Mission. It is a joy if any DJ’s or Radio folk want to play any of the tunes, and spread the message of Patience,Resurrection, Salvation. Thank you Dre-Z Melodi, Hakim B, Mike Gerdes, and especially Colin Diles who works tirelessly for the community to have a voice. Its a responsibility to speak and I am pleased to be able to put the brush down and break the chains with a chant every now and then. To keep balanced I have to come out the art cave. Give thanks for the Day! Part of how I have learned how to live is to move with the current, which allows fluidity. Many of us have learned to do what we love, and though to some this is a luxury. Let us reason on time. IF you love what you do, you dont keep track of hours or expect to be paid for them. It is a Itinual act of protecting the moment, and hence being present. In that presence are opportunities that can not be sparked unless willing and able to address it in that moment. It is how good music is made and art, you let the moment teach you. When it comes to both art and music, it is about the Spirit and listening. It like dancing with Jah, and sometimes, my moves may be off beat for sec, and then I get back into pocket. Life is here to praise The Most High. IF the art and music isnt what others want thats ok, its about what I do, and why.. In this journey less has to with what others think or do, and more about what we do and what we think, otherwise the communion has interference. When I create art or music it is for Jah, and it will have various textures that were tools in the moment to use for Rastafari. It is photo of a vision, a glimpse into feeling. When we put words or form to something we actually denigrate that from its original source. The best we can hope for is to produce an upful impression being that these ideas cannot be fully spoken or illustrated. Lots of art and music to come, because that what comes naturally. It is only a part of it. The fullness is to see how all these components can help propel us into a more just and conscious environment. It is all part of good to make a greater good. I pray everyone is doing great, Jah Knows it can be hard in Winter and we have to get up the good vibes and meditations. There is so much to reason on and I figure a general update is in order. First, Haile Selassie I is still the reason for life, and as I venture on a journey of study it becomes more evident why Haile Selassie I represents the legacy of unity and the future of unity. I have started to write a book tackling many hard topics, and specifically inspired by the Emperor in an attempt to look at His Imperial Majesties objectives for the United Nations and what can we learn about how the U.N. works and what grass roots organizations can do collectively to create reforms and oversight. One of thing that is clear, that the vestiges of colonization in the U.N. is an internal battle that we should understand. As much as the vestiges of slavery are evident in the United States Government and voting and is a excellent parallel that is worth exploring. Ironically I don’t see a need for artwork in this book..Look forward to sharing more as it comes along.

The New CD is coming along with Brother Diles of Visceral View and we just completed a music video with “Editz” on the camera. The Music Video is titled “21 Gun Salute” and Features Hakim Be. and Ras Illy, and will premier on Green Chile in the Air Mix coming out soon from Central Root Studio. Mr. Kali, reggae artist from New Mexico, has a great album releasing Saturday, titled “Hungry”and InI am very honored to be featured on that album with Dre-Z on a tune titled, ” True Wealth ” There will be a CD release show for both Sgt. Remo as well as Mr. Kali this Saturday, Jan. 19th at the Boxcar in Santa Fe. I will be there sharing art and appearing for the debut of the new song.

Blessed Love, it is an honor to speak about music, and this album is a reflection of the times through InI. Each album I have made has a different vibe, due to the audience and sometimes the riddims. Making music for many in the Rastafari movement is not about selling albums or exposure, it is a prayer recorded. It is us going into a box (our body) and then going into another box ( the studio) and making our Temple alight the Temple outside to praise Jah and part of that goes into another box called a computer. It is a sanctuary for those who have no contemporary church, and have found freedom and liberation in the using the best equipment to create sounds of praise.
