Bio

Ras Elijah Tafari, Rastafari, Father, Husband, Artist, Author, and Activist. Known for his artwork of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I through various album covers for reggae artists over the years, notebally Midnite, Akae Beka. His artworks have reached globally, including shows in Fairfield House In Bath, England, at Art Basel in Miami, and in Taos, New Mexico.

His works can be seen on the covers for many artists, and have done personal works for a number of musicians over the years. Some of those artists include, Ras Teo, Fikir Amlak, Brother Dan and Kibir La Amlak, Innerstanding/LionHeart Sounds, Ashanti Selah, Sizzla, Indubious, Buju Banton, Uwe Banton, Ark Angel, Jah Myhrakel, Perfect Giddimawi, Jahson Wildes, Dre-Z Melodi, Fredlocks, and Jah Solid Rock Music, and many more.
 Father of seven children, living in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ras Elijah creates Joy-tings over pain-tings, by using fine art to express the spiritual journey shared and how the Creator shares His Teachings with the world. His medium is a mix of acrylic, indian ink and oil on canvas.
In 2020 Ras Elijah Tafari wrote a book titled,”Mankind’s Last Hope, The Urgent Need to Reform the United Nations Now” and launched the organization R.U.N.N. (Reform the United Nations Now) which has been established in 5 countries formally. With the primary focus on how to remove the veto power from the United Nations Security Council.
