Greetings in the Most Holy Name of Emperor Haile Selassie the First. The Conquering Lion of Judah, Supreme Head of Humanity and the Sign and Seal of these times. The thoughts that have been inspired are for the benefit of international salvation. Today wasn’t a day like any other, it was the first time I was able to reason with Ras Sadiki-I, whom The Almighty chose to build the New Temple for the Ark of the Covenant in Ethiopia. This is a man that I have long felt was a vessel of The Most High on epic and prophetic levels, that his calling was a blessing to Rastafari internationally. He was chosen to humble everyone, by being himself, and allowing himself to be used to bridge the East and West. I will not go into his history, I will allow the reader to learn for themselves of the under and inner takings it took for the Temple to be completed, and how symbolically it represented and represents a change in the presence and importance of Rastafari spiritually for the redemption of the World and Ethiopia.

We reasoned on many things and contextually came to the same place of where and why we as Africans abroad are stuck in a social construct of pagans. We believe that the workings of the pagans have the same basic objective, which is the subjugation of the majority and especially the true children of Israel. We also believe that colonialism is the foreign and domestic policy of the devil. The historical advances of humanity in different regions really show that The Scriptures and the God of Israel are relatively new and foreign to most of the world to this day, and whom most culturally continue the practices of those that are polytheistic, local and often full of demons. In many areas of the world, reading is new to masses, and until recently information in general was controlled by those who control circulation.  We shared similar thoughts on the advantages and dis-advantages of Christianity and how it has also allowed a Gentile philosophy be introduced since the teachings of Paul. I hope you are following.

The blatant contrasts of seeing the battle that is part of the Biblical context is reflective in the confusion of how and why Rastafari is misunderstood and still overstands. Europe has controlled the Bible as well as education in general which has made it so that a Euro-centric perspective has made the Scriptures both widely available and widely misunderstood. It is difficult but this is the method in the madness.

It was prophetic, and divine destiny that Iyesus Kristos be born from before the Creation of Humanity. It was prophetic and divine destiny that has Emperor Haile Selassie I with us as a fulfillment of set Prophecies. It is divine prophecy that Africans Unite and lead humanity into a peaceful co-existence. Starting there, we have the Vision of Jah from Jah, and the adversary is all that stands in the way of this Vision complete. Understanding that this destiny was not up for discussion, there were Angels that resisted the importance of Christ as a Man and Son of God, to be over them as angels. The attack against the least was already underway before we were created. The Earth is the Most Highs, and not the playground for angels and demons to dance, it is the foot stool of God and is here to embrace His Children. In His Fatherly Love, the desire to first try and explain to satan ( an angel),  why that Jah has made Christ to lead men, made satan disagreeable. Jah shall make Himself known as a God of Love, Protection, Righteousness, and Non-partiality. To be just, this didn’t get thru so well either. 

From the first books until the last, we can see that satan has a certain amount of freedom and attention from the Most High, which is partly what separates the God of Abraham from other deities. The God Of Abraham has a Fatherly Love to create understanding even in the face of stubbornness…It was destined that Christ come for the Gentiles as well as the house of Jacob. There has been a Unity factor at work from the beginning, despite the known obstacles that were also pre-destined. This is moving from before man to present, to understand why from a Scriptural point of view why we are here now, and the importance of The Root of David, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I’s work in the cause of peace and co-existence.

Being in the west, we haven’t learned that spiritual atonement is about listening more than telling…that it is about reminding and learning over converting and outward affirmation. We do right for right sake, not for a reward in the after-life. We as Rastafari have a Livity, which is to say we do not divide the spiritual from the material. Religion is like a college, what you show reflects only your diligence, not that of the school. In short it is not about the outcome, it is about the attempt, and experience in the work to make it as good as it can be, to study for ourselves and build ourselves in education…Hence, what comes forth is not to be seen as doom, but of the repercussions from set behaviors. We can either choose to stand far from destructive ways, or with them. The Knowledge of the times that we live through and the lens of secular and spiritual leads to the journey of Rastafari in a new phase.

In this modern time, Rastafari is in the Third and Fourth generations of H.I.M. We have seen the space and distance ones can go when not listening to the Word of the King of Kings, and the example of Iyesus Christos. The United Nations, in which man’s last hope will be for world peace and collective security has great power. The importance of representation by the Ethiopian World Federation in the U.N. is that we have a public, and constant view and statement for the world on behalf of the diaspora. It is to bring a people who share the identity of African Heritageat home and abroad into the discussion. What has been labeled as a “Pan African” perspective needs to have international ears and representatives working together internationally. The United Nations in InI’s view is a crucial player in the re-working of a system that has been designed to give voice and reason on behalf of Peace Loving Nations, most notably Ethiopia, its thirteenth founding member. We as Rastafari, must do our best to be ambassadors against nuclear proliferation, and for human rights and justice as so set by The Root of David, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I. Our goals are common goals for most nations and people.

  There are those that stand in the way, and this is why the restructuring of the U.N. is essential in order that permanent members of the security council do not have the ability to override or overtake the majority. It is also essential for enabling the cause of peace and implementation of collective security.It is appropriate, in due time, and is spiritually a duty for Rastafari as children called by His Name, His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie Ito have a permanent space at the UN and to have a voice in international issues, for the benefit of all humanity at large. Africans in the diaspora who do not have a government other than that of Ethiopia, as a World Federation, must see the E.W.F. is the avenue for representation and a world voice. These are some of InI thoughts shared on the purpose of what we must do, in order to try and encourage a future where we do not bring on a nuclear war or other reckless and unnecessary dangers that are posed on each one us.

We have a duty internationally as those who follow in the example of Christ and His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I. We are here to Love Ethiopia as Zion, and to also show how nationalism in Ethiopia encourages redemption and love to all the world, for Our Creator is not localized, He sits set apart. We have an Ethiopian Perspective of God, the same perspective that was taught to Moses and would create what are ” The Children of Israel.” The same God, that “Arabs” would embrace as well as Europeans in their congregations. It is the God of Ethiopia, from Genesis to Revelation. it is a North and East African Our-story. We have reached a time when saying you’re a Christian means little, and this goes for most faiths, including ours. What is important is the action of doing and showing, and if the judgment does hit tomorrow, our voices were not silent. As much as many of us would like to make it a better world, it may not happen, it may get worse. With this in mind, remember this isn’t about an outcome that is pre-destined, it’s about your part to play. It is about your conscience, which both Ras Sadiki-I and I agreed is Jah, and let your conscious guide. Jah’s Evidence is an inborn inception that is why all of humanity has the potential, it is up to us to have faith even through the illusion of death, for we have faith in Jah, The Ruler above and below.

The Importance of Global Redemption by the God of Israel is about getting closer to the God of Ethiopia, of Abraham, Isaacand Jacob. We see Zion as Ethiopia, and His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie Ideclares that He sits on the Throne of Zion. In that judgement and from His Throne we cite the modern need for African Unity and Redemption, Repatriation and self-determination. We reasoned on the importance of repatriation, and how Caribbean governments are becoming more welcoming of having Rastafari in governmental positions and with the opportunity to expand within the government. The ushering in of Africans abroad into Africa is a vision that is happening, but the challenges of community remain an issue. That issue has at large to do with the state of the identity of Africans in the diaspora and the importance of African sovereignty and representation in the future. We see Africans leading, but few African leaders, and as those who have seen the corruption of the West, we can help our brothers and sisters not to be fooled by state of the art corruption which is Babylon in the East.

Our reasoning of why Africa is where we as those loyal to the Word should go is because of the Bible and the end of times. That Nuclear states will war with each other and those nations that do not participate in satan’s nuclear war will survive. That due to the ignorance and greed of satan’s colonial ways, the world will follow in the reckless example of a heartless bully disguised as whichever country puts its trust in nuclear weapons. That we have not yet seen how the Anti-Christ will try to subject us into bondage in this time, it has yet to happen. That it will get worse and many will try and leave at the last moment to no avail. Whether or not we like it, it has looked that way in many regards since the day I was born. That the warning continues, and cries, we need to move toward a more civilized society as Rastafari and humanity at large as quick as possible.

We reasoned on the Crown Council of the House of Solomon, and the Monarchy in present times. After hearing Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie I speak in Chicago about how we may have to accept that HIM Haile Selassie I is the last king we may see, the importance of working together in every ability for the betterment of mankind is what is needed in a world that is in a state of emergency. We found that the building of African Unity, and Ethiopian Unity is more pressing than restoration of The Monarchy. Ethiopia needs strength and leadership on a ground level, with the clarity of equality, human and environmental rights in an Ethiopian way. The importance of Rastafari as a common bond throughout most Ethiopian tribes is important but the social politics makes it that trust and understanding is build by Ethiopians for Ethiopians, a result of hundreds of years of not trusting foreigners.The best thing we can do is to be watchful, supportive to positive change, and to learn Amharic.

  The new phase was started in 2012 when Ras Sadiki-I was told by Jah via the Guardian Monk in Axum to launch the building and to set the stones for the New Temple For Ark of Covenant. As a collective, we were asked to build a new temple and work to repair the dome (head) of the St. Mary’s of Axum Church, the House and Temple of the Ark of Covenant built by Her Imperial Majesty Empress Menen Asfaw and His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I. The literal and symbolic healing and bridge began there. It was also when the internet and the abilities to have access to worldwide Rastafari and African current/past events increased, a new time where those who use technology can speed up the ability to educate themselves and others. Allowing more perspectives and broadens a bigger view of reality. Due to that, and the generation Ras Sadiki-I is in has allowed the process to be filmed and shared with the world through the internet.  For the most part, especially those who have studied Rastafari for years, remember when getting Black books was hard, and many were made illegal by Jamaican governments and South African governments, as well as seen as contraband in the United States.Most of us were getting oral accounts, passed through years and across miles. We had photocopies in the west of H.I.M. Speeches, and that’s because there were photocopier machines. I still have InI large manila folders full of copies from the “Beat” magazine of the one page in each issue with a new speech from the Emperor. We saw very few videos, in contrast to today. Still new videos and photos are posted of His Imperial Majesty every day that have not been seen. We are in an infant age of learning, and the ability to really research is like never before. The generation that has become computer literate will benefit from the expansion of African thought and history like never seen before on this planet. Likewise, our ability to find out, be involved and come out of the mountains has increased to the level where the building of a larger and more international audience in unity is at our fingertips.

The challenges we face in this time are several, first being the damage done by the lack of mature meditation on the Scriptures. Many Rases have had the experience of being at odds of having a biased perspective of the Bible, due to etymology and interpretation. Many are not aware of the controversy of the teachings of Paul and that the first Christians had issues with the doctrine that Paul was preaching, and its place in the furthering of understanding. Both human understandings as well over a thousand years of theological reasonings have occurred where the dismal of the entire book was not an option. Neither should it be for us, who also should have active reasonings about esoteric and clear meanings in the different books of the Bible individually. The importance of understanding the pagan mind and the difficulty of foreigners,to comprehend the depth of the Word is not something for us to look down on western prespectives about but to realize how their environment has ill prepared them to look at their actions in a moral way. When reading the word and looking at Rastafari through a prophetic and Biblical lens, It brings African Liberation to the Children of the One Jah, and the breaking of the bondage of Babylon in modern times. Liberation theology is redemption and salvation theology at its heart, which is why putting God back into the process is key, internationally for success in being truly liberated. Our expansive awareness of God in Flesh, and in the Body of Emperor Haile Selassie I, not only affirms Christ and the faith held in Him, but also calls us to heal and share with the masses a Creator that has chosen to be with us, as one of us, for all of us. When Ones stop telling God how He should be, we can open up to the mysteries that we still are called to have an open mind to matters that are beyond human comprehension, like Angels, Ark Angels, and the devil.  It is wise to walk softly in order to learn something no book or the internet can show you, the Spiritual World that is running all of it. We need to gather in reverence of that which we can’t explain away which has called us to reason on these heavenly matters. We can call it the Holy Spirit that need Us to heal together and rise together.

Ras Sadiki-I shared some experiences from the Panama gathering of Rastafari, and the importance of Panama logistically for the continual spread of Rastafari through South America and the World. It still has held the flame that helped shape Marcus Garvey and Leonard Howell. There have been continual gatherings and meetings there for decades and it is a hot spot for the Rastafari community. I was pleased that Ras Sadiki-I spoke to a congregation in Panama and would encourage ones to link with everyone from colleges, churches, and Rastafari festivals who have a vested interest in the works he has done and is here to do. I think men like Ras Sadiki-I should have the proper respect and audience given and elevate him to be a representative teacher and example of how the Most High is using us here and now. That like ones like Akae Beka, the word, sound and power of the truth from a holy plateau should been widely heard and prayed on. These are teachers first, musicians second. We have Kings amongst us, we have a duty to listen and heed when the conscious speaks.

These are just a few of the topics that were touched on, and the Mission Itinues. I thank you for reading and hope the topics mentioned move us to take to heart the great responsibility to preserve, expand and implement the Teachings of His Imperial Majesty in a sure and courageous way. In a legacy of Ethiopians that have lived and given their all so that we could stand today. For the Children of the Diaspora, to show them the promised land, and to help get home. For Humanity to see that its destruction is its own fault, and it is up to us become something bigger than we have ever been. Members of a new race. Blessed Love ONE and ALL. When we get to Revelations 19:10, Where we see John fall to feet of an Angel, who says see that you do not do that, I am your bredren. He says I have the testimony of Jesus Christ and that Christ is the Spirit of Prophecy,.The point is that there is a Trinity at work, from Genesis to Revelations where The Spirit of Prophecy is always present. That is Yeshua, the Spirit of Prophecy. To Bring to HIM who sits on the White Horse Haile Selassie I. He who makes War and judges the nations..see how He walks into League of Nations and Brings down the temple and rebuilds it as the UN. Or that He did the same for the Ark of the Covenant in Axum! What a Joyful Meditation it is to think of Emperor Haile Selassie I. This painting spoke to who His Imperial Majesty is to INI, because it is of HIM alone holding His Royal Umbrella. In a Fatherly walk He approaches, where the Heaven and Earth are indistinguishable. Water and Rain everywhere and it looks at first He walks on water, which we all do when He rains.

The Umbrella is special for many reasons, including it represents the Heavens protection and His Imperial Position, usually a Head of State and certainly the Emperor has a trusted one hold his Umbrella, and this was a rare photo that was used. The Rasta-Man aka Priest and Prophet, ( the trusted ones)  holds the umbrella as do they crown the King, for no King can Crown Himself.  This Great King, can carry His Own Umbrella, He is all of Man’s history and future walking towards you. Give thanks for the Emerald Judah King, For the Guidance and Mercy of the Emperor. This piece is inspired by His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I and His ability to resonate a Power that is so Strong and Humble. The Feeling of Life itself inhaling. The Color of the Rock of Judah is Green, and often you will see InI paint Green as the Aura of the Palace or His Throne. Judah Emerald. The Cross symbolism is to remind ones of the Prophecy of Christ’s Kingdom which is seen through the Line of David. The Conquering Lion is wearing His signature cape as He warned the World of Fascism and WW2 to come as well as the solution being collective security. The Resurrection: Of Christ in Haile Selassie I, Africa and INI.

We are in a remarkable time, and at this moment where many in the World celebrate the Resurrection of Christ let us share the continuation of the Glory of God through the personality of Emperor Haile Selassie I Resurrected and the fulfillment of Christ, the Prophet John of Revelations,  Enoch and Ezekiel.

I will be showing the links of collective and spiritual importance of The Emperor’s impression on the nature of Resurrection.  In The King of Kings We can see the resurrection of Africa, of Freedom and Self Determination for 100′s of millions that had been deprived by colonial powers. We see publicly His Resurrection on the Throne, Where He is given a New Name; as well as Empress Menen Coronated at the same time which had never happen. He is the resurrection of the African Male Female and Child adoration through the act of the Coronation of 1930. The capital Addis Abba, meaning “New Flower” being where 72 nations where called to witness the Crowning of the King of Kings, and where Organization of  African Unity would set up as the first body to create Independent African Nations. It was erected and was to resurrect others nations from the yoke of foreign minority rule. Lets go back though, to the 30′s..

From the late 1930′s The Earth saw  the Emergence of Ethiopia upon the World Stage and the only Free African Nation Internationally lead by Emperor Haile Selassie I. Later betrayed as the League of Nations allowed the dropping of Poison Gas on the oldest Christian Nation by Roman and Italian forces member to the League. This dismemberment and crucifixion would echo as Christ and Osiris were betrayed,  and then sent to the slaughter. His Imperial Majesty would show that unlike Christ and more like King David, fighting against extreme odds is the way to leave a lasting memory and testimony to history and self in Ones faith in God. In the eyes of the World, Haile Selassie was often reported dead, and see as a “King without a Kingdom” and that He and His People would pay for the lack of moral action by the World. Five years later, Ethiopia Regains Her Throne and King. For the first time in history an acting Head and King of State is back in Power. His Imperial Majesty now in His Rightful Seat watches as the world goes into world war. Bringing to fruit and warning to bear for the Earth to feel, “it is Us today, it will be you tomorrow.” The League of Nations is meaningless and His Imperial Majesty starts to look at a new endeavor. Presented in 1936 to the League of Nations He expressed the need to end Superiority complexes. It was remembered and a new day was announced. One in which the resurrection of a people collectively and personally are one.  This movement would spread across the Earth freeing many nations throughout Asia and Africa from European Oppression.

Excerpt from H.I.M. Haile Selassie I speech on entering Addis Ababa on May 5, 1941:

“No words of thanks spoken by human tongue are sufficient for that the good God has vouchsafed me this day to be in your midst, a thing that could be known or conceived neither by the angels of heaven nor by the hosts of earth. What I want to tell you all and to convey to you before everything, is that this day is the opening of a new era of history for a new Ethiopia: and in this new era there will begin a new task which it will be for all of us to perform. . . .People of my country Ethiopia,This is a day when Ethiopia, stretching forth her hands to God in Jubilation, presents her thanks and declares her joy to her children. This is the day in which the children of Ethiopia are liberated from the grievous yoke of the foreigner and from eternal slavery; it is the day when we are vouchsafed to be reunited, after a full five years of separation, with our beloved and longed-for people; therefore this day is honored and sanctified, and one on which there shall be held every year a great Ethiopian holiday. On this day we shall call to mind our heroes who shed their blood and shattered their bones in sacrifice, refusing to betray the strict trust passed on to them from their fathers – the freedom of the country they loved, and the honour of their Emperor and their flag. The history of Ethiopia shall be a witness for these our heroes. If we are to learn from the sufferings and agonies we have experienced in the past five years – endless to relate and to reckon in detail – the principle lesson to be drawn is that you should have inscribed in your hearts industry, unity, fellowship and love, that you may be helpers in our plans for Ethiopia. Hencefoth in the new Ethiopia we want you to be a people undivided, who have freedom and equality before the law.”

In 1958 Africa Independence day was established at the first African Independent States Conference. The Emperor in 1963 said on Africa day,  APRIL 15th  the following excerpt.

“For several years in the past, as must be remembered, a large part of the African continent was under colonial rule. In the course of that time, colonialists have stripped the Africans of their freedom and natural rights, and used their resources for the benefit and prosperity of their own country. Even today, colonial masters speak ill of Africans by exaggerating their poverty in the press. Africans are also blamed for the aid they receive. This aid cannot fill the needs of their peoples overnight. From under such humiliation, Africans rose up to safeguard their right and started to struggle to obtain their independence. This struggle began to bear fruit after World War II. The first African Independent States Conference was held in Africa in 1958. The independent states at that time were only eight. Nevertheless, the freedom fight in Africa continued with more vigour and fervour and today the number of independent states has reached 32. This is four times the size of those independent countries which participated in the Accra Conference. Last year alone Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda, and Algeria achieved their independence and became members of the Independent African states. Although it had been duly extended at the appropriate time, we will again venture to express our congratulations to these friendly countries.”

In 1963 The Organization for African Unity was formed and head quartered in Addis Abba. By this point, His Imperial Majesty had already founded globally the United Nations. He would speak on the importance of Equal representation and the end of racism and superiority complexes. This was a resurrection of The Word, and the World. For an ideal that had not be defended and would represent the future of peace and security. Coming from an Emperor, Head of all Abrahamic Faiths and Masonry by protocol, the end of classism, injustice and superiority complexes. Once again Haile Selassie I was ahead of His Time and willing to fight against those who had stood in the way of independence. He was the first to address and arm The People of the Congo, and South African Freedom Fighters and many others.

The events of the past hundred and fifty years require no extended recitation from us. The period of colonialism into which we were plunged culminated with our continent fettered and bound; with our once proud and free peoples reduced to humiliation and slavery; with Africans terrain cross-hatched and checker – boarded by artificial and arbitrary boundaries Many of us, during those bitter years were overwhelmed in battle, and those who escaped conquest did so at the costs of desperate resistance and bloodshed. Others were sold into bondage as the price extracted by the colonialists for the ‘protection’ which they extended and the possessions of which they disposed. Africa was a physical resource to be exploited and Africans were chattels to be purchased bodily or, at best, peoples to be reduced to vasselage and lackeyhood. Africa was the market for the produce of other nations and the source of the raw materials with which their factories were fed.

Today, Africa has emerged from this dark passage, Our Armageddon is past. Africa has been reborn as a free continent and Africans have been reborn as free men. The blood that was shed and the sufferings that were endured are today Africa’s advocates for freedom and unity. Those men who refused to accept the judgement passed upon them by the colonisers, who held unswervingly through the darkest hours to a vision of an African emancipated from political, economic and spiritual domination, will be remembered and revered wherever Africans meet. Many of them never set foot on this continent. Others were born and died here. What we may utter today can add little to the heroic struggle of those who, by their example, have shown us how precious our freedom and human dignity and of how little value life is without them. Their deeds are witten in history.”

To this day Africa becomes a United Nation inside and outside the continent, finding our friends in those who share the same values of respect and integrity. Building publicly and privately and as His Imperial Majesty or Christ, we are asked to look at where ones allegiance resides, not the color of their skin. Making the defense of  Human Rights His Mantle, The message of Freedom and Liberty brought inspiration and Law that would be the highest in the land, known as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Collectively written, collectively imposed to be collectively safeguarded.  He resurrected all of us by acknowledging we are one body and that the mechanisms of peace are the organs for a healthy system. In a modern world He complimented his advances with Ancient wisdom and vision, inviting all to share and see.

Emperor Haile Selassie I, The Conquering Lion was like a ghost of the past, Returned to haunt the conscious of the world..”

On this day 59 years ago, Africa Independence Day was established right before the Western Judea Christian Easter celebrating the resurrection of Christ. Interesting.. With that known by HIM, When I See the Resurrection of the Lamb as prophecies to be in marriage and spiritual Oneness as the Conquering Lion of Judah, declared Worthy to be Praised by Merit Globally and freeing the masses through confidence in Moral Justice,.. I see the ripple in the time. I also hope that one day the Life and Times of His Imperial Majesty can rightly be taught into the international historical psyche, being the Inspiration and Guide to so many that are known to be inspirational. His influence on so many needs to noted, for even His Inspiration has created Heads of State. (Jomo Kenyatta, Kwane Nkrumah, JFK are just a few) and how will His Inspiration, His Spirit inspire you or the future generations? It can only be seen when they are shown truly of who Emperor Haile Selassie I is.

In the Rastafari Trod there is a call for Redemption, and Repatriation. This is part of Resurrection. The giving of Oneself to being the embodiment of the Highest thoughts is to become them. With the thoughts and actions of the King in Mind, the Balance of Christ and  Haile Selassie I usher in the time and place for self defense and cooperation, of Judgement and Mercy. His teachings are the Crown of God given to the people to take care of. These teachings include the importance to immediately hault Nuclear testing and weapons development. We are in a interesting time.

In closing, the so-called death of HIM will not be discussed. Because there is no evidence of  death, particularly of the Soul. In the specifics of His Majesties Physical Body there is no evidence that has been presented and its all therefore speculation. This subject of His sightings and such are for each person to consider and also whether it carries as much importance to what His Imperial Majesty did. We know HIM as the bridge of Heaven and Earth. That He is the finale evidence that We are with God and the Books are there for all to read and to theologically figure out if they have been completed by Haile Selassie I.  Most Importantly, This is about Resurrection, which is about submitting so one can be reborn. His Imperial Majesty does not replace who we were, He renews us so that we can be more than we think we could be.  On this day we give thanks for the Blessing of rising from the death and seeing the resurrection of Africa, the World and ourselves.  In this journey our rising is our surviving. There are many differences in traditions and houses of Rastafari and as we look through out the existence of the Movement  from 1930 onward, we can see a basic outline that separates the Rastafari Movement from other faiths. Without trying  to divide but to show the specifics and uniqueness of the movement, study our strengths in the identity of Rastafari as a people. These are 7 Kingsiples of what makes Rastafari, Rastafari.

First and foremost that Haile Selassie I is the Almighty in Flesh, Supreme Head Creator. Some will use the term “God” while others prefer not to use the term due to its western influence and conditioned notions. Others see HIM as “Christ” returned, such as 12 Tribes of Israel, and His Divinity is based on individual theology of who Christ is. If ones believe Christ is God, then Haile Selassie I is seen as both. Because of these different views we have several branches or Houses, that have lessons that speak on this subject specifically.

Second, We as Rastafari research and have independent thoughts concerning The Bible and Scriptures. We study many books, including those linked to the Bible such as the The Book of Thomas and the Book of Enoch. We stress the ability to read and study in a balanced and historical manner, as well as with openness to the variations and bias that has been made in renderings and translation. We are also open to prophetic revelations that can appear to anyone thru the Scriptures and shed light on the future, recent past or current times. We promote study of secular and spiritual education with a clear conscious confident that with head and heart aligned we will choose the right, and stand by it.

“Your guide should therefore be the postolic saying; study and examine

all but choose and follow the good.  Our forefathers have succeeded in passing down a free and independent people determined to safeguard its liberty by shedding its blood.  Ethiopia is the country in Africa which has kept Ge’ez and Amharic with an alphabet of its own.  We have also laid a firm foundation for the freedom, prestige and happiness of the present generation in the fields of education and development in accordance with the conditions now existing.Those who will be serving the people in future should follow this same path in endeavouring to develop their country and maintain her freedom.  This is one of the main responsibilities of teachers.” Emperor Haile Selassie I.

Third, Rastafari as a people who are called by His Name should know everything they can about Emperor Haile Selassie I. It is the revelation that is happening to this day with direct messages from the Most High. From photos to speeches, His Imperial Majesty has multi layered teachings that if allowed can present a ruling perspective of Self, African Identity, Education, Spirituality and more. When a Man takes on the study of HIM they take on the vision of HIM. With that sight ones can look from a Kingly perspective and reason on the tangible reality of the words and solutions presented by The King of Kings. He is a Living Man, and can relate and teach in this modern day with a keen awareness of what we face in these times. Books and photos, speeches and documents are still surfacing, and the collection of these Holy testimonies are part of our duty. Restoration and preservation.

Fourth, Rastafari adherents should have a historical understanding of Ethiopia. This cannot be stressed enough, this movement is based on the Crowning of the King of Kings of Ethiopia in Addis Abba, and knowledge of what lead to and followed the Sacred Emperor is relevant and crucial to knowing what and when Haile Selassie I did, who He is and why He is worthy to be praised. A constant desire to return to Ethiopia, both physically and spiritually is more than a point for pilgrimage, it is the Home of God.

Fifth, That at the Heart of this movement is Black Liberation. That importance of African Redemption and Liberation is the approach we look at everything.  How does cultural perseverance build identity with African Spiritual present and future leaders? Within Black Liberation Theology is the study and deep connection to the legacy and impacts of slavery and the paths to attain Freedom for Africa and African People. In perfect accordance, Emperor Haile Selassie I message proclaims Global Liberation from colonial forces and International Citizenship. He made the bridge for ones that are from all cultures to the call of Human Rights and that is the brother of any Liberation theology. Within this pretext, African Sovereignty and Self Determination should be the model set by Africans to inspire the World in cooperation. When we see the Red Gold and Green across the Earth stand for Justice, we as Africans should be proud that the Banner can be waved for both national and international progress. It is a duty for those who wear the red gold and green to know the reason Ethiopia is a beacon to the World, and why that is a spiritual sign from the Most High about allegiance to our collective origins as well to Judah, Head of the House of Israel. Many Elders and leaders of the movement have been Jamaican and the importance of Jamaica in this collective awakening is divine and chosen. Elders have laid foundations and houses that should be respected and familiar to Rastafari tenants. The most crucial of which are Groundations ( Gatherings) in which we recite Psalms and Chants that have been handed down through decades and fire side reasonings. Knowledge/ experience of how to play the drum in a heart beat method is mediation time needed to grow in the movement. The Heart Beat being the Song of Life, of Collective Unity, Memorization of songs and hours of chanting renews the heart and allows the collective to humbly learn and pray to the Most High. It is a central place for Us as Rastafari to remember and pray for Right over wrong and Life over death, Good over evil. Rooted in the celebration and remembrance of the Uganda Queen Nyabinghi, the heart beat itself makes it so WHO she is passed through to Who We Are, Living Nyabinghi is to be the Living Drum. The different pace of the heart beat is accompanied by thunder drums known as pope smashers, and it is universally understood to be a ritual to Kill all Black and White downpression, thru Word Sound and Power in Prayer. It is more important to know Nyabinghi Order than to know reggae songs and artists. It has held the movement together and reveals work needed to be done in the spiritual cleansing. They are passed down, and taught word to mouth, rich in old African-Carribean- American connections.

Seventh Is Food and Basic Conduct. This is a sensitive subject, though the universally agreed food “Livity” suggests eating as healthy as possible. Not eating chemicals and processed foods, nor bleached foods. Most will not eat pork or bottom feeders, though Vegetarian “diet” has been more encouraged over the decades. Many are militant vegetarians and vegans, while others eat fish and so on. It really isn’t a line in the sand, those most will not accept a man calling himself Ras if he is a drunk or pork eater. If ones take up the Nazarite Vow of Numbers 6 then alcohol, grapes, vinegar, and meat eating is forbidden for as long as the vow is adhered to. The conduct of a Ras is based in humility, therefore gluttony, and sloth are not qualities of a spiritual being a vessel of liberation. In humility in honor of Our Creator and Ancient Heritage, many of us cover our heads. Though it is not mandated, like most faiths of the world, those who are devout or women will often have a turban of some sort. Women are encouraged to wear dresses because it is our culture as well as Biblical Law, while pants is a western wear on women. Pants on women is seen as a European Governmental disrespect pushed on all women during the industrial revolution due to men being in World War 2, forcing them to wear pants in factories. Both men and women are encouraged to dress in clothes from Africa, Robes, and if anything have a neat appearance.  Many Prophets in the scriptures were not “neat” and lived in rags, this is not forgotten, and poverty should never be a reason to discriminate. With that said, personnel hygiene and awareness of creating a good impression on behalf of Rastafari, is important. We are not hippies, and discipline is character. Cleanliness is next to Godliness.

InI hope that these Seven Kingsiples will help others understand more about Rastafari, and will encourage those who love Rastafari to absorb the culture and Itinue its legacy in Righteousness sake. InI did not mention Ganja because so many understand that plants are a gift from Jah. That suppression of medicine is criminal, not matter what kind it is. It is in no way necessary to use Ganja to adhere to Rastafari as a trod, though its history and the movement are interlinked. Defense of herbs as medicine is universal, and as a human, obvious. Our collective sacrifice can not be overstated in the fight for Cannabis legalization and has also brought us together with many.  InI look forward to building with the community and hearing thoughts and questions. Church/Body of the Living God, OR Church/Body of the dead word.

To relay the importance of the Church and the Body of Man, we have to ask if we truly Love Jah or love ritual. This subject is one that exists in every house of praise and defines it own understanding of self.

The Church is first the Body in which The Everlasting Soul and Ever Lasting Life dwells, with knowledge that the building is built on the Faith and Wisdom of the Soul acknowledges that the body is but a building. The Church or Body of Man is only as strong as the appreciation and respect of The Almighty that is acknowledged. With a Loving Soul the Building cannot house the works and words because they are so large and they will flood into the community with goodness. Without Loving Souls, The building is but a coffin to dead words and memories rehashed in form of ritual.

In some faiths there is room for “mysticism” and prophets, in others there is none, while in others the basis of their faith is God working now and still revealing Himself in new ways through various books and testimonies. It should go without saying that many of these interpretations have been extreme and dangerous, such as those who wish to see Armageddon.  Still the diversity in the perception of The Living God and the Living Word have left the masses at odds with religion in general.

Religion is important because it carries a wealth in theology,wisdom, history, and parables concerning the soul in the ancient and modern world. The collective battles we face over and over again: this being one of them. The status quo is what enables growth in every field. A balance between new and old even generationally is a constant project. When it comes to Spiritual and Scriptural changes the same is not only true but more combatted. We can’t help but see Religious Policies pushed on agendas based on current affairs, meaning Religions react to the times. But do they shape the times by acting out and continuing in the path of their teachers? It seems often that “what would Christ do?” is the furthest thing next to ” is this Godly”..that many ask before using Religious Power to achieve what ever goal. Then Why would they not be as open to hearing of what the Living God reveals here and now and today? Is it because they are not here and now, or fear change? If everything is changing in nature wouldn’t it be natural that The Living God has new material…If people don’t see the change of tides will they be swept away by the waves of past thinking? This is the dilemma of Churches and why Rastafari is a bridge builder and repairer.

When ones become too comfortable they become forgetful of past warnings and signs that lead to previous un-comfortability and chaos. Through out the Old Covenant ( Testament ) people are constantly rebuked for the simple adherence to ritual without thought of actually being the Living Word. Most of us call them hypocrites but its deeper than that. Arrogance and laziness are part of the original poison. It is something closer to Superiority complexes within tribes and classes that made the dismissal of dissent a norm so that the hierarchy wouldn’t be at risk or threatened. Being that was the usual in daily life, it was transferred to the personality of the Church. When I say Church, at this point it is symbolic for all religious institutions. It can be seen in daily life of parenting to how most people eat.

In a time where Monarchies are not popular, and democracy has not been fully realized for the general same reasons, that a top class does not want the change that the general citizens too, we must look to what can be done. At the heart of it is listening to the Almighty here and now, which means listening to the poor and needy as well as the Spiritual signs. At the heart of this is an ownership problem, where people think they own God, and He is their servant, who is here to answer there every complaint and call. A waiter that no one is willing to help and they feel is invisible. The lack of connection to the purpose of Life which is to Love Jah, has been turned backwards. Humanity and nature have universal laws that like Jah do not change, they are also expanding, contracting, and ever changing. Within this divine paradox is the All Encompassing Father and Mother. The mis-presecevption that God is not everywhere and in everything is what is limiting mankind. That He is with Us, and Now, looking through all living forms is the key to waking up from thinking that Jah can be isolated and divided. He is One, ONE WITH ALL. To try a piece The Creator out is to try and measure His Power which is not possible.  The Equality in which God’s Love reigns cannot be labeled. This Oneness with the Creator is what everyone needs to tap into, and then look to see if we are displaying partial Love. Partial Love concerning the poor, and for women, partial love for the Earth and animals…This will expose whether we are truly committed to love or its a one night stand. Ritual of thought, making the Earths needs not as important, lives of children, the poor, and animals, to the point where ones don’t care for themselves. This is the illogical place we have arrived to where religion is supposed to see that our connection to each other is our connection to The Most High. To listen to each other, to the Earth, to the children, is to listen to Jah.
Catalogue modeling is also specific to where you want to go. It gradually spreads upward and affects other body organs. It’s a situation in which man is not able to have pleasure with your wife, then you can do the same on your body parts to show your respect towards them. What Does Ayurved ED Treatment Entails? If one knows God is every where and in everything, then how can anyone say they or Haile Selassie I is not God in Flesh. Perhaps because true Oneness is bigger than the Western perspective of God. With a New Name, in a New Time, arises people and warnings that are straight from Love, from Jah. Our ability to speak directly to Jah is the ability to see when some words are dead and have no place, while others need to held high because of their self evident virtue. It is the same with ritual, some is good, full of medicine and healing, while others rituals like what most call “lunch” is a bloody slaughter in which they make their body a cemetery, eating souls rather than uplifting them. The Name Haile Selassie I is the name of all Creation, Power and Virtue of the Trinity First and ONE.  Trinitarian symbols and thought are written in all of universe as a fabric, it is another reason why Emperor Haile Selassie I is the Name of God. His appearance marks the end of religion because he fulfills it Through being the Conquering Lion of Judah and Earth’s Rightful Ruler, King of Zion. He shows us Heaven is on Earth, and where we all originated, He is the highest symbol and in the highest seat of Christianity and Judaism, and is the Returned Messiah of the Quran, He is Krishna of Hindi’s and is Wisdom incarnate likened to Buddha. He is Great Buffalo High Chief to the Native Americans, And Grand Father of Africa to OAU and Pan African Liberation Movements.  He is an internationally celebrated Prophet and reformer, 13th founding member of the UN….It goes on and on, because He was ALL to the Earth. He Gave His ALL to Show us How far we are and that God is with us, and is also human, one with all, and did His Work. Many pray to Jesus to save them, We do not pray for Haile Selassie I to save us, He prays we find the Power within to save ourselves. He calls us to save ourselves and others knowing we can because the Most High is Here and now, with Us. He is the evidence that look within, not up in the sky. That death is an illusion, and that our children and this planet is the continuation and evidence of our works. That they be nurtured and lessons past on diligently. If we let go of the lessons we forsake Guidance and wisdom, if we do not think for ourselves and choose the right, then we will forsake Jah by accepting blindly dead words lacking truth. They balance is forever in our hands, and its in the worlds interest to listen to each other and put the pieces together, then we can see how members of the Body of Jah truly exercise cooperation and collective-self determination.

I specifically didn’t choose to use Scripture versus and quotes to support my thoughts, nor words from Haile Selassie I. I want it to be a big as possible when one thinks of Oneness, after that everything is apparent. That God is Love, Let Us Be Love, is heavier and bigger than ones realize. Life exists because it loves itself, Life exists because Jah is within. From Start, from here walk from fear into the Loving arms of Jah, and seek wisdom. Its already all Jah, by surrendering, we submit to the Here and Now, which is the only place you will find Jah. It is also from here we can see without clutter of past opinions and persuasion.
